One of the most fun things you can do is take golf vacations in Las Vegas. I know what you are thinking, Las Vegas is the world capital of gambling, it’s crazy with the “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” motto… But what most people do not know is that Las Vegas is a premier golf destination.
Las Vegas has numerous luxury hotels and if you are going on a golf vacation there are dozens of public golf courses to choose from! Las Vegas was once a desert, but now it is a giant themed entertainment center and the many of the golf courses also have themes.
Siena Golf Club - Las Vegas Nevada
The Siena Golf Club is an Italian Renaissance themed golf course with a cascading waterfalls and long lakes. All the holes have Italian names and the green is perfectly cared maintained. The rates at the Siena are excellent being under $80. The scenery is spectacular and the natural rocks and palm trees give it a great atmosphere. Although the view is great and relaxing you will still need to concentrate on your game, there are shots with water and bunkers to give you a good challenge!
Lakes Course at Primm Valley Golf Club - Las Vegas Nevada
The Primm Valley is a few miles away from the Las Vegas strip but the course is worth the ride. No Las Vegas golf vacation would be complete without playing there.
The Lakes Course is challenging and most of its difficulty comes because of the water hazards, if you don’t pay attention you will put a few balls in the water!
This course was opened in 1997 and was awarded as the eighth best course in 1997, it is worth a visit!
Desert Pines Golf Club - Las Vegas Nevada
The Desert Pines Course is one of the best Las Vegas public golf courses and it is not as hard as the other ones. Here you can enjoy the golf and the scenery without extremely challenging holes. The price is also low, with summer rounds costing $45 upwards.
This course isn’t called Desert Pines for nothing; it is surrounded by more than four thousand pine trees, so you won’t feel like you are in the desert! This golf course is one of the best discount golf courses in Las Vegas and you should try it out during your golf vacations.
We hope you enjoyed these suggestions, if you have any to add or have any questions do not hesitate to leave a comment!
